Manufacturing of piping for fluids

Do you manufacture piping components for transporting fluids (gases, liquids and vapors in pure phase as well as mixtures thereof) which are installed into a pressure system (PS >0.5 bar). Piping includes, in particular, pipes or a system of pipes, tubing, fittings, expansion joints, hoses, or other pressure-bearing components as appropriate.

If so, your products are governed by the European Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC), should you wish to sell them in the European Union.

We advise you to which category your product must be assigned and which module or combination of modules is applicable or possible. In this context, a distinction is made between product verification by a "Notified Body" and product verification by manufacturers themselves on the basis of a quality assurance system monitored by a "Notified Body".
