Increased fire protection requirements for nuclear facilities
On account of nuclear risks, nuclear facilities demand special fire protection requirements that may extend far beyond normal building regulations.
Special requirements are identified in close collaboration with systems engineering departments. Furthermore, TÜV SÜD maintains close contact to the authorities responsible for conventional fire protection, and especially for defensive fire protection strategies.
