The Swiss TS Technical Services AG is a subsidiary of the Swiss Association for Technical Inspections and the TÜV SÜD. Swiss TS carries out comprehensive services in the areas of safety and environment technology for production and commercial companies in all sectors.

The core competence of Swiss TS is in the safety assessment and inspection of equipment and technical installations, the assessment of the conformity to European standards and the certification of management systems, products, and people. With 70 employees, Swiss TS supervises, tests, and inspects thousands of individual technical installations, equipment, and products throughout Europe. Swiss TS is the Swiss competence centre for technical training, for example in the areas of heating, refrigeration and energy, welding, and work safety.

The specialists at Swiss TS participate in international experience exchange groups and standardisation commissions. Ultrasonic, burst, design type and design sample tests are carried out in its in-house testing laboratory – which is independent and unique in Switzerland.

In the area of dangerous goods, Swiss TS has a consulting role, acting as an external agent for dangerous goods, and takes over tasks related to training and further education.

Swiss TS is continually developing new inspection procedures. In the area of ultrasonic testing, its Autosonic is one of the most modern container test installations anywhere.

The Swiss TS certification office certifies companies from a wide range of sectors using acknowledged standards, and thereby helps these companies to obtain quality certification that is recognized worldwide.
