TÜV SÜD corporate video wins top award in Hollywood
Munich. A top year for TÜV SÜD and its corporate video "Just what are they like, these people": the corporate image film collected the "2007 Gold Camera Award" at the International Film and Video Festival in Hollywood and was awarded first place in the "Public Relations: Corporate Image" category! TÜV SÜD thus succeeded in beating 1,200 competitors from 24 countries.
The 'Gold Camera Award' is already the second international award collected by the emotion-based corporate video. In February, it won the silver medal at the 2007 New York Film & Video Competition, in the category "Industrial, Products & Services". "We are very pleased that our innovative corporate video is appreciated by TÜV SÜD employees and clients and also meets with the approval of international film juries", says Rainer Strang, Head of Corporate Communications. The gold award in the "Public Relations/Corporate Image" category reconfirms that the unexpectedly emotion-based approach pursued by TÜV SÜD in its current "Add value" campaign also generates a very positive response internationally.
The U.S. International Film and Video Festival is one of the leading international events in which awards are presented to outstanding video productions in the categories of business, television, documentary, educational, entertainment, industry and information. Crucial criteria for assessment are creativity and successful implementation of the objectives defined in the film concept. In the corporate video: "Just what are they like, these people?" the 11,000 employees at TÜV SÜD take centre stage. "After all, it is these 11,000 people whose daily efforts all over the world enable their customers to choose certainty and add value. This was the aspect that we wanted the image film to convey", says Kristina Wegner, responsible for Corporate Marketing.
