With a solid business foundation dating back to 1968, TÜV SÜD Japan was first established in 1993. Today, TÜV SÜD Japan has operations in Tokyo (headquarters), Osaka and Kurokawa to meet the increasing demand for enhanced quality and safety testing and certification in the Japanese market.

TÜV SÜD Japan represents TÜV SÜD Product Service, a Notified Body for most European Directives, and holds accreditation by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) as a registered certification body for medical devices in Japan. To date, the company has issued more than 10,000 certificates.
